PETA Asks Six Flags To Stop Eating Roaches

Organization Questions Theme Park's Family Fun Moniker In Relation To This "Might Makes Right" Eating Campaign

 (STNG) Gurnee, Ill. One man's publicity stunt is apparently another man's outrage, as the activist group People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is calling on Six Flags Great America to cancel a live cockroach-eating contest planned for next month's Fright-Fest.

"We have been flooded with calls and e-mails from all around the country about this," said PETA spokeswoman Jackie Vergerio, who studies issues related to animals used for entertainment.

    We would hope they couldn't be more stupid, but then, odds are this is just the beginning of really stupid.
