Animal Rights - Enemy to Christianity and Judaism

September 1, 2006 / by fowlnews

Remember When The Father Of The Animal Rights Movement, Peter Singer Said......
"Christianity is our foe. If animal rights is to succeed, we must destroy the Judeo-Christian religious tradition."
Peter Singer (father of the animal rights movement) [The Deweese Report, November 1998]

.....callous indifference to animals is rooted in Christianity and Judaism........

Andrew Linzey, Animal Rights Moralist

In an emotionally charged world, Andrew Linzey is Britain's most thoughtful advocate of animal rights. Linzey argues that centuries of callous indifference to animals is rooted in Christianity and Judaism, and that modern secular attitudes have grown unknowingly from this philosophical base. Linzey, an Anglican priest, holds the world's first academic post in ethics, theology and animal welfare (at Oxford). He has fought a courageous battle that has brought him into conflict with both his church and his university.

Could We Call This Standing Up For Christianity And Judaism?

Laurie Pycroft, Animal-Testing Campaigner

The 16-year-old Swindon schoolboy was sitting in a coffee shop in Oxford one day in January when an animal rights demo passed, demanding a halt to work on the university's new biomedical animal-research facility. Pycroft - who had done neurology and neurochemistry courses on a Government initiative to nurture bright pupils - scrawled an impromptu placard and went out to chant "build the lab". He was shouted down but blogged the incident on his website and was soon receiving 300 hits an hour. Out of them he launched the Pro-Test movement in support of "science, reasoned debate and animal testing crucially necessary to benefit humanity". This teenager's solo act of defiance against animal rights intimidation shamed his elders - including Tony Blair - into standing up to be counted

"Callous indifference to animals" is not rooted in Judaism. If Moses had tortured his cat, he would have roasted in hell. Under Halachic Law, cruelty to animals can not be forgiven. [Since beasts lack vocal ability, they can't forgive the culprit.][MAD]

"Callous indifference to animals" is not rooted in Judaism according to the Animal Rights Doctrines? You need to explain that to Andrew Linzey, Britain's most thoughtful advocate of animal rights, as well as Peter Singer and all the vegan Animal Rightists behind PETA, HSUS, Farm Sanctuary and so forth, that are promoting the Animal Rights Agenda and Philosophy. They in turn could explain to you that the philosophy of Animal Rights, Animal Liberation, and/or Animal Personhood do not coincide with your views and are totally different to Animal Welfare and the consumption, ownership and use of animals in ANY form. In all actuality they will probably not divulge that information about their philosophy to you willingly until after you can no longer own your dog and cat and the personhood of animals is ingrained in law, elevating the status of animals to that of humans, and the destruction of the Christian Judea Ethic. In other words, under Animal Rights Law, if Moses had claimed a cat to be “his”, he would have roasted in Animal Rights hell, it didn’t matter if he “kicked the cat” or not.

What do you think Wayne Pacelle, at the time National Director of Fund for Animals, meant when he said, "One generation and out. We have no problem with the extinction of domestic animals. They are creations of human selective breeding." You probably thought he meant everyone else’s domestic animals, not yours. Don’t forget "Callous indifference to animals" not only includes the consumption and use, but also includes ownership. Sounds like someone is going to roast in “Animal Rights Hell” if they OWN any animal according to Linzey, doesn’t it? But then, that’s why Animal Rights - Enemy to Christianity and Judaism.

If you don't mind, I'll copy your article to read it more carefully. Things in Israel are very bad for owners and pets. Reacting to dogcatcher tactics, two of my friends have committed suicide.
A half hour from now I am putting up a small article on sacrificial chickens and I would appreciate your comment on it.[SMILE]

Would you tell us more of the problems in Israel for owners and pets as well as the dogcatcher tactics being used. I will most certainly attempt to comment on your article and may we extend our sympathy for the loss of your friends.
